Christmas 2011

Each holiday gets more exciting. When I was young I LOVED CHRISTMAS... I would loose sleep over it ha. I couldn't wait to see what I got.. Its funny cause now I could care less what I get and I am excited to see my kids expressions. Ady wanted a pink drum.. I know kind of silly but it was what she wanted. We were very spoiled this year. She got her pink drum she asked for a Fisher price car, a Tricycle, kitchen set, a art desk, doctor kit, and some clothes. I know she got a lot but a couple of those were from yard sales.. Like the Tricycle and Car. A little spray paint makes it look brand new . Drakers got lots of toys and clothes. I got a video camera a new bed spread and a knife set. And I bought Sam a new bow. And by I , I mean I bought with his money :).We also got some food storage from my parents and sams aunt and Uncle. This Christmas was very enjoyable. We spent it with my parents. On Christmas eve we ate dinner and did white elephant. We also did a Nativity scene and read from the scriptures. It has been fun trying to teach Ady about Mary and Baby Jesus... We have been very blessed this year. After Christmas we went to St. David and spent a few days with Sam's family.. We enjoyed Christmas very much this year.
I am sad i didnt take more pictures. But I was playing with my video camera I got lots of video but not many pictures sorry...

Halloween this year was fun!! Ady was Little Miss Muffet and Barney and Drake was a fire man. Ady was Miss Muffet for the ward Halloween Party and Barney for Trick or Treating. For Halloween we went over to Laurie and Brads and had BBQ on three drive way and passed out candy. We had to dress up with stuff we already had in our closet. I am sad Sam had school that night so he didnt get to enjoy the fun. My mama won the costume award... She put on my dad's wrestling uniform from High school ha.

This isnt halloween but I forgot to add it to the other one. This is drake Getting his 2nd Hair cut

This is a video of her "READING". I love it when she memorizes a story then repeats it. She was sitting in her room reading this one day so I made her do it again for me.When she is suppose to be taking a nap I always see her in the video monitor playing and reading stories to herself. Its so funny. One day I will sneak a video.

This little girl makes us laugh...I am going to write down some of the funny stuff she has said just for my sake so I wont forget them.

*The other day we were in the store. She went and grabbed a box of cookies off the shelf and said. Oh gosh that's 20 pounds.... Where in the world does she know about pounds?

*She was playing in the bathroom and I went into check on her and she was opening my tampons... (Me) What do you think your doing? (Ady) Look mommy's Crayons.

*She call boobies Doebies. I was feeding Drake and she yelled Drakers don't bite mamma's Doebies.

*Sam and I were sitting on the couch watching a movie and we already put Ady down for bed. She came out over and over. One of the times she came out She came and gets in 0ur face and says "Look it me. Its Ady... No really!!

*I was getting in Drakes closet to get some more diapers out. She walks in and says in her squeaky little voice.. "Mommy what you freakin doing?" She picks up on every word no matter where she hears it.

*We were sitting in church one day and she kept moving around. (Me) What are you doin? (Ady) Yells " I have a wedgie!

* Every time I ask her to do something she says "um yeah sure".

*She call's me Rach or Rachel. She call's sam Babe or Samuel and she call's Drake Draker's or Goober bunny.

*We were driving to Costco and we were in the turning lane. The people weren't turning and Sam said something like come on turn. Ady goes Dad Be patient.

* She was jumping off the back of the couch I look at her and she says to me. I'm Nuts ill be careful.

*Whenever i'm getting dressed she says to me Okay mom keep your pannies dry.

That is only like half of it. This girl is full of it.

Barney!

Ady has a little bit of what you call a Barney Obsession!!! She had a dream come true. We took her to see and meet barney. She enjoyed every second of it. She was in shock when she met him. She couldnt take her eyes off him. It was a lot of fun. After it was all over she goes OH WOW THAT WAS FUN.

These 2 have been buds from the moment Drake was born whether he likes it or not. She doesn't really give him much of a choice. She is a good big sister but she wants to take and do everything with him. I actually think it is really cute. The other day I was getting ready to go somewhere and I put Drake in his car seat in my room. I went into the other room to get everything else packed up. Ady broke down into tears saying, "MOM dont forget Drakers". She kept repeating herself crying thinking im really going to leave him. She is always asking to hold him and play with him. She was jumping on the bed and said I want Drakers to jump with me. I was trying to explain to her that he was to small to jump but she wouldnt have that. She still insisted on him jumping with her. So I just held him lifting him up and down like he was jumping. And she goes Ah i love this. This is fun!!! I am so glad she loves him so much. And im glad that he is such a good baby and deals with it. Lots of pictures... Enjoy

Drakes Blessing

Drake was blessed May 29th 20011 by his dad.. It was a beautiful blessing...Lots of family and friends came by our house after the blessing for lunch. This little boy brings such a joy into are home. Every day I look at Ady and Drake and think of how blessed we are to have them in our lives. They bring such a special spirit into our home. We just love them so much!!

Children's Museum

A couple weeks ago we took Ady to the Children's Museum in phoenix... She loved it.. It is for children of all ages. So if your looking for something to do go check it out. We even had fun! Everything there is hands on. She got to color, paint a castle, ride a bike, run through the noodle forest, climb a 3 story fort, play grocery store, cook some pizza, race cars, serve ice cream and much more. She is at such a fun age right now. I love it. Here are lots of pictures. P.S. her clothes are really small but she picked it out herself and went crazy when i tried to change her. That's why she has a belly shirt on.. Oh well.

I just got done giving Drake a bath and was putting on his clothes and heard her in the bathroom and walked in to this. I guess she didnt want to feel left out

Story time before bed. She wanted Drake to lay with her.

This blog post is about Ady. I am doing it so I dont forget what she is learning and the funny things she does. . The other day Drake was crying and I was on the phone with the insurance guy so I couldn't hold him. So Ady went and got a bottle that was drying off the counter sets in on the floor in front of the fridge opens the fridge gets out the gallon of milk opens it and tells me Broder (Brother) needs a baba(Bottle)... She loves to help with him. Sometimes a little to much but I love it.

Here are some things she Loves and Does.

*Loves Barney (Sam hated it)

*Loves it when daddy comes home

*Loves to say thank you!

*Loves to help with Drake

*Loves her Blankets, She has 2 of them that go with her everywhere!

*Loves to color

*Loves to go on walks

*Loves to swim

*Loves to read books (where in the world did that come from) I guess Sam!

*Loves to be naked and is quite often

*Loves to dress herself she even has to pick out her own clothe
*Loves dolls

*Loves animals

*Loves to sing songs (favorites are Itsy bitsy Spider and wheels on the bus)

*Loves to through temper tantrums to get what she wants.. (Working on that)

*Loves Brad and Macee

* She still sleeps in a crib (If anyone has any tips how to change this let me know!)

* She is POTTY TRAINED!!!

*She knows almost all her ABC's She will leave out a couple letters here and there

* She can count to 10 sometimes 13

*She knows most of her shapes

*We are working on colors.

* She knows almost every animal and what sound they make

* She can say just about anything

* She repeats just about anything (got to be careful with that one)

*She has been practicing for the 24 of July Races already

These are just some of the things at the top of my head that I want to write down so I remember.

Easter 2011

Easter was good this year.. We woke up attempted to make it to church on time.. But then again didn't happen... Only 20 min late. We are getting better. 8am church is way to early. It always seems like we will be on time then Ady strips down or takes her hair out or has to go pee 45 times .. Something always gets in the way. No matter what time we get up we are always late. Next week we will be getting up at 4am and see if that works......Not! Anyways after Church we went for Easter dinner at my parents and played games with the family!!! It was a lot of fun!
I guess its safe to say she was happy Easter morning. I had there Easter outfits but had to make a last minute run to walmart at 10:30 Sat night not much of a selection at the neighborhood walmart . At least she liked it.

Drake Samuel Fry

8lbs 4oz, 20.5 in long born 4-3-11 at 11:21AM

We are so excited to have this little guy here. He has been so much fun and and such a good baby! His big sister just adores him. She wants to help with everything and do everything herself. She tries to hand him toys and gets mad when he won't take them. She just keeps saying "here here take it". Everything wen't really well with the delivery. I started having contractions the day before but not very hard ones. They got a little harder around 11PM and got worse by 3 and that was when we left to the hospital. When I got to the hospital i was dilated to a 5. I got my epidural right away cause they said you can either get it now or not for a while cause they would be doing something so I would have to wait a while. So why wait!!! My Doctor was out of town which was kind of sad but his partner delivered gun and I LOVED HIM!! I was very pleased. He came in and broke my water and less then 2 hours later he was here! My mama has been staying with me and and has been SO AMAZING!!!! Thanks mama!!! I owe you one!

This was our attempt to get a picture with Santa.. I went to hand her to him and she just got these big eyes and started screaming bloody murder! She just looked at me wondering why I gave her to this scary man. He didn't even give her a candy cane. I guess he thought she was naughty this year... Oh well good thing he is only Santa's helper and Santa thinks she was a good girl ha. I couldn't snap a picture of my own cause she was going nuts so I just got this off the website Thats why it it has a big Proof just in case anyone out there was wondering.

I think it is about time I update!!! First off we are having a BOY!!!! We are so excited. Its going to be different. I am so use to having a girl it will be a change..But can't wait... Ady loves playing with her little brother already. She will always lift up my shirt and hug and kiss my belly and try to shove a binky in my belly button for the baby! The other night she was laying in bed with us and I went to pull the covers up around my neck and she got so mad at me pulled it back down and kept saying no baby, no baby and gave my belly a hug. I guess he wasn't aloud to be covered. This girl is full of energy and joy. There is never a dull moment with that chick. She has one heck of a personality. She use to prefer me over Sam but when he stayed home for 4 days around thanksgiving that changed! When he goes to work she always asks me "Where's Sammy? Sometimes it's daddy sometimes its Sam and the others its Sammy! I can't wait to have another bundle of joy enter our family. Before I had kids I always said I wanted crazy kids. And by gum did I get one and I love it. I love hearing stories about funny things kids do.. Anyways enough blabbing.. Here are some pictures of the past little bit! Enjoy.

I am horrible at blogging. That's all there is to it!! Every post is something random with lots of pictures. I'm going to make it a goal to post something specific next time!! But here are lots of pictures of the past couple months.

And gives my belly kisses and always says baby! I just love this little girl and cant wait to have a new little bundle of joy!!

My dad grew up on the reservation. He learned how to make jewelry and just recently started making it again. These were the first two he has made. I think they turned out adorable!! I think he still has a little Native in him. Ya-ta-hey!!! That means they are For Sale haha. For all of you girls with little ladies who would be interested let me know!!! Its pretty sad how Sam is the one that gets after me for not posting. Any way's things are good at the Fry home. We have been staying busy. I watch my brother's kids during the week now so it keeps me busy! Ady is getting bigger by the second! She grows so fast. It makes me so sad. I want her to stay my baby forever. She is so fun!! She surprises me everyday the things she learns. She tells me NO WAY! And when someone wants to hold her and she doesn't want them to she will swing at them and tell them to GO WAY! She loves the word no and uses it lots. She loves it when her Daddy comes home from work. When she hears the door open she gets these big eyes and smile and heads for the door. She is walking everywhere. One day she got a jar of baby food and came and handed it to me and then went to her high chair. I guess thats her way of telling me she is hungry! She loves to eat. When someone has food she will go right over to them and beg like a little puppy! Even if she just ate a ton! She keeps me on my toes and gives me a workout. I am always chasing her and holding her. She is a hefty little thing. Ha But I love being a mom. Everything I do is all soooo worth it. It helps that I have a good baby and a good husband to help. To my little one year old.. You turned 1 today. I can't believe how fast time flies. You have brought such joy to me your dad and everyone else you are around. We have had lots of fun on your birthday. We went to San Tan Mall with Traci, Jack and Kasen and let you play at the splash pad and on the toys. Then we came home and got you ready for your party. You wouldn't nap at all its like you knew it was your special day. You were so happy all day. I baked you 2 cakes one to play in and one for everyone else to eat. You had lots of people to celebrate your day with you. Me your dad, Grandma and Grandpa Papa, Laurie, Sam, Mary, Uncle John, And Ted. We played ring around the Rosie's and London bridges, ate dinner, opened presents and let you dig into your cake. You are something special Ady. As I was going to check on you last night before I went to bed i looked at you sleeping and it brought a tear to my eye. You are such a joy everyday. There is not a day that goes buy that I don't think of what a blessing you are to us. We sure do love you and hope you had a Happy Birthday!

This woman is already into everything... We went swimming and I had sunscreen in the diaper bag. I always let her play in there cause there is nothing she can hurt its just toys and diapers and such. Anyways I forgot there was sunscreen in there and I look over and she used her to little bottom teeth to open it and squirted it all over the carpet then a little while later I look over at this.... She has Sam's tie around her neck and she is just helping her self.

I guess she found what she was looking for!!! I guess she was trying to tell me she wanted a bottle!

We went out and had a cook out with my family. We found this spot that is probably like 15 minutes from our house that we have gone several times to shoot guns and dutch oven.. Its a lot of fun!

These are two guys I love so dearly!! Aren't they handsome! I love going out here to get out of the city.( Well kind of) but Its fun just to get a way for a couple hours and enjoy.

8 Months Old!

I can not believe this little girl is already 8 months old!!! She is such a good girl. She has brought so much joy to our lives! She has such a fun personality already. She loves cords and phones and loves to EAT!! She is a tall little one. She is off the charts for height and in the 95 percentile for weight! We feel so blessed to have her in our lives!! We love you Ady girl!

She grew out of her carrier so we had to up grade to a big girl seat.. We found one that goes from 5-100 pounds at the rate she grows she will need it.

She loved the park. She was so interested in the grass.

Someone had a brilliant idea to do the Grocery race for the 24th of July Rodeo! We decided we needed to do a practice run! It didnt go as planned. Lets just say I don't have the hop's I use to! Having a baby takes alot out of you or maybe just adds alot to ya. Jim was there trying to show us how to do it and for those who know him he sure let me know I have to much JUNK IN THE TRUNK! I couldn't get on to save the life of me. So Laurie the short woman she is had to boost me on and then run and jump on the back now that woman has hop's. And Laura has some guns and can pull her self on. So I guess better luck next year.

Adys Blessing Day!

Ady was blessed on July 12, 2009. Sam did such a good job. Ady pulled her bow on top of her eyes and started screaming but it went good. I want to thank everyone who came. We enjoyed all of the family and friends who came to share this special day with us!

Ady went to church for the first time on Sunday!! She did so good until the last little bit of Relief Society she got a little fussy so I gave her a bottle while people were sharing there testimony's. It was dead silent between people wanting to share and she lets out the biggest burp it was so funny!! I couldn't help but bust up laughing right along with everyone else.

I am a little late. Adyson had her 2 week doctors appointment and it was an interesting one. I went in there they weighed her and she is 9 lbs and she grew and inch and a half!! It looks like she is going to be a tall one like her Mom! Everything was going good then he was checking her pulse by her groin and her arm and he said they were on different beats.. He said he needed me to go to the hospital for some tests and we will see how that goes then if he needs to he will refer me to a cardiologist!! By this time I lost it!! I was freaking out. Sam came home from work to meet me at the hospital. She is such a good baby and I was wondering how something could be wrong! We went there and all they checked is her blood pressure and they said everything was fine! Me and Sam were TICKED! They sent us to the hospital just to get her blood pressure taken!! Why couldnt they do that at the doctors office!? Anyway Sam was mad and called him just to ask him a couple things. He just said we are first time parents and you made it sound like something serious and scared the crap out of us for nothing!! And all he said was I tend to do that alot! So that was an eventful day! But all in all things are going good! It is so fun being a mom! She is so sweet and so good!! She only wakes up once to eat then goes right back to sleep! We got a keeper!!

Adyson is 4 days old! She is such a good baby and sleeps all the time!! She has done pretty good in the night. She wakes up 2 times a night to eat and usally goes right back to sleep! Here are some pictures of her. She is so sweet and has been so fun! Grandma Flake came to visit and just loved holding her!

Everything went great!!! I woke up at 2:30 with contractions and they were around 5-7 minutes apart. Then they got to where they were about 3-5 minutes apart so I ended up going to the hospital around 5:30. They checked me I was dilated to a 4 and 90 percent effaced. The contractions were kind of getting where they were starting to hurt then they came in and said I can get the epidural anytime I want so I said heck why wait!!! And boy oh boy did that thing work great. They whole time after that I didn't feel a thing!! I was so lucky! The doctor came and checked me around 2:3o and said I was dilated all the way they just wanted to wait for the head to come down a little bit so I didn't have to push as long. So around 4 the nurse came in and wanted me to start pushing till Dr. Huish got there. I did and she made me stop because she was coming to fast. So I just sat ther till he got there. And about 5-10 minutes later she came out at 4:30! It was amazing! Our little girl is so sweet! We have been so blessed in every way but this has to be one of the greatest blessing in life is to have one of our Heavenly fathers children!

I was bound and determined that I was going to go into labor so I did take caster oil and Laurie took me to drive over speed bumps at Desert Ridge. I woke up at 2:30am with contractions. And was at the hospital by 6:00AM. I am in the hospital right now and loving having an epidural!!! Sam has his computer so I decided to blog!!! Here are some pictures before the hospital and now. When she comes I will post our sweet little one!

I really need to post... Alot has happened since I have posted last. We are homeless and still no baby. Haha we had to be out of our house almost 2 weeks ago so my parents were kind enough to take us in. We were suppose to close on our house on the 24th of April but the seller didnt do what they were suppose to do for the final inspection so they asked for an extension. So there for we are staying with my parents. We have really enjoyed it actually! The food is amazing and I don't have to do as much and it is nice since I am almost 40 weeks prego!. But the good news is we did sign papers on our house yesterday!!! WOOHOO! It has been a rough experience. It seems that everything that could go wrong did! And the funny thing is, none of it was our fault!! We did have our 1 year Anniversary on the 16th.. We went and stayed in a hotel in Scottsdale it was alot of fun to get away right before our little girl gets here! (I know far away!!) It is crazy we have been married a year! People say your first year of marriage is the hardest but if it is that way then I think we will do just fine it was a piece of cake! I am to the point were I want to try anything to go into labor! So if anyone has any good idea's let me know. I was a little nervous that I was going to go into labor homeless but we are safe now SO COME ON BABY!

Last Tuesday my Mom , Traci and Laurie had a baby shower for me... It turned out so good. The food was awesome and I got everything our little girl needs. Today I had my first week "EXAM"! I was just nervous they were going to tell me no progress... But I did go and I am dilated almost to a 2 and 50% effaced. Hopefully I keep progressing and don't stay that way forever.... I am way to excited for our little one to get here!!! Things have been going good. I am very lucky I have had a VERY easy pregnancy.. Lets just hope the delivery is just as easy!!!

Here is a picture of Sam and most of his friends from high school. They all went out camping for what you call a bachelor party! But this was a week AFTER the wedding. The girl he married is one nice woman for letting them go out the weekend after there wedding haha. I like all Sam's friends alot. They are alot of fun. And as you can tell they had alot of fun. He came home with some pretty big welts and bruises! But I guess that is what your consider fun!

Today me my mom and dad went on a hike at Usuary Pass or something like that. It was alot of fun! It wasn't a very long hike but it was nice to get out and walk and get some what of a work out in. Sam wen't camping with a bunch of his guy friends so that is why he wasn't there. I told him to take pictures so if he did I will put them on but you know how boys are.!

When Sam came home from work he suprised me with Roses chapstick bobbypins and poneytails!!! He is so sweet. The bobbypins and ponytails I have saved like the same ones that I use all the time I only have one of each. I don't know why I don't get them when I go to the store I either forget or I just hate going to the store. But Sam came to the rescue..And the chapstick I must of had rough LIPS! He is so thoughtful and sweet....I LOVE THAT BOY TO DEATH!

On Christmas eve every year it has been a tradition to have a live nativity set. But every year we have has so many little kids you don't know where to even put them. Well not this year. We spent Christmas at my parents house and Kylan was the youngest and I guess they couldn't find a doll to be baby Jesus. Me and Sam got roped into doing it so this is how our Nativity set ended up being... CLASSIC HUH!

We went to the doctor today and we found out we were having a little girl. I know i haven't posted much about my pregnancy but things have been going good. I really didn't get sick. And everything looks good with the baby. We are both really exited and can't wait!!!

Sam's birthday was yesterday. We had a party for him at my parent's house it was a lot of fun. HE IS THE BIG 25!! I know crazy! Here are some things I love about Sam.
*Look at that smile... I see it all the time and I love it.

*He is great with kids. And is going to make an awesome father.

Okay. So this past week we went with my parents to there trunk or treat! I must say it was a good time. A we went there for my mom's chili cookoff B to laugh at them and C I wouldn't miss them looking like idiots for the world! And Sam and Sam were in a pie eating contest and my little brother Sam won just by a little bit.... They were both good sports! I need to teach them a thing or 2. I was in a pie eating contest at the State fair one year and YES I DID WIN EVEY ONE!

6 Quirks

I have got tagged a couple of times with this one and haven't done it yet so here it goes.
1. After I do the dishes I have to wash my hands even if my hands have been in soap the entire time I still have to do it.
2. Right before I get into bed I go to the bathroom even if I just went and don't need to go I will still go anyway right before I get into bed.
3. I get ready in the same order everytime. It will never change.
4.I will check to make sure the door is locked at least twice a night. I will check to see if I did something more then once just to make sure. Even though I know I did it.
5.I make Sam call me as soon as he gets to work to make sure he got there ok.
6.If I want something. I have to have it right then and there. Even if I dont need it right then. If I am going to get it I have to get it then. Example I found the baby carrier I want. I know I dont need it for like 7 more months and It will just get in the way but I have to have it.

That is a hard one. I cant think of quirks I am sure all of you know more quirks I have then I do. I am oblivious to a lot of things.

We went to Washington D.C. to visit Sam's mission. We had so much fun. I did take a ton of pictures but these are the only ones I had on my phone. I will post more when I get them put to a CD. We did a lot of walking but we had a blast. The house next to the one we were staying in burnt down. We went to Olive Garden and by the time we got back the house already caught fire and was put out. We got to visit some people he had baptized and taught while he was there. And they all remember him so much. They all told me what a good missionary he was and how every missionary talked about him when he left. I am so grateful to be married to Sam. He is such a hard worker and has such a great knowledge of the gospel. I love you Sam!

Ok, so every night we sat up watching the olympics till late at night. Sometimes we would fall asleep. So finally we decided to just bring out matress out there. This is how we have been sleeping for the last few nights. Sam decided he likes sleeping that way and doesn't want to take it back in to our bedroom just yet. Who know's how long it will stay that way unless I get strong and can move it myself.

Sorry everyone I dont add new post's! I can't find the hook up to the computer from my camera so I can't add pictures. They will be coming soon I swear. I will just tell you a little about what has happened. Well I flooded our house with the dishwasher. Some how nobody told me you can't put dish soap in the dishwasher. I only had a little cascade so I decided to fill the rest with dish soap. Sam's brother and sister in law were there and we were getting ready to go swimming. I look over and there were bubbles EVERYWHERE! It wouldnt stop. And come to find out there is not much you can do about stoping them. I will put the pictures on here as soon as I get a Hook up! Lets just say they made me feel real smart after that one!
